I have to say that I have the best grandkids in the world!  Dylan passed his Infant Rescue Swim Instruction on Sunday.  He was the summer superstar according to his instructor.  He is just two and already shows amazing athletic ability. Must be from his Dad’s side.

Penelope called us tonight and sang the ABCs.  She is just 22 months old.  She is a leader in her toddler class and so pretty.

Love is the best ingredient to making wonderful children and they are showered with it all around.

Here is a picture of Chuck this morning at the Doral driving range in Purchase. There was a class of 4-7 year olds going on at the same time and those boys looked so cute with their driving gloves and golf bags.
I sat on a bench and offered “helpful” suggestions.

He is a great picture of Chuck ( lovingly called Pa by Dylan) and Dylan reading a book on Sunday.

Dylan and Pa are the best of friends and it is so great to see them together.

I was an eye witness to Dylan after his first 4 lessons. It was gut wrenching watching him be afraid to go under the water. But look what a difference an additional 5 lessons make.
I am a believer and very thankful for the program Dylanswimming

Pam, Ed and Dylan are in Cali for a wedding and we are watching our grand dogs, Jada and Winnie.
They are not pleased. I think that we were fine when it was just Pam and Ed, but now that they have Dylan, we are not an adequate substitute.
Lion will join them this evening, hopefully that will help fill the void.

Penelope Jane Strand was born on Sept 16, 2008.   Chris and Laura have had a wonderful time with Penny.  She has jumped right in and loves all the things they do, restarants, parks and bike riding.  She was made to order and we adore her.

We are blessed by the safe arrival of our grandson Dylan Edward Urquhart. Mom, Dad and labor coach Aunt Laura worked very hard to bring Dylan safely into this world on June 30 at 4:51pm Dylan is the spitting image of his Dad and has his Mom’s hands. He is a sweet and curious baby and we are completly overjoyed.
